JR Ball

Is entering his third year as the head men’s lacrosse coach at LSU and has more than 30 years of experience as a player and a coach. Prior to LSU, Ball was the offensive coordinator at Catholic High where he helped the team earn three championship weekend appearances and the 2022 state championship. He is also the co-founder of the Baton Rouge Mustangs youth lacrosse program and has coached multiple summer travel programs to tournament titles. The Baltimore, Maryland, native played college and men’s club ball for legendary coaches Jim “Ace” Adams (Virginia) and Dave Cottle (Greene Turtle).
