Lacrosse Summer Clinics
Meet the Coaches!
Coach Ty Sams, a Maryland native, is currently the offensive coordinator for the LSU Men’s Lacrosse team. Before taking a coaching position, Coach Sams played college ball for the Tigers after transferring from NCAA DI Holy Cross. While at LSU, Coach Ty had one of the program’s highest point records, placing him in contention as one of the highest scorers in the MCLA’s Lone Star Alliance Conference.
Coach DJ Burton moved to Baton Rouge two years ago, where he began serving as defensive coordinator at LSU. Prior, Coach Burton was the captain of the Utah Tech Men’s Lacrosse team after a transfer from NCAA DIII Southern Virginia. Post collegiately, Coach Burton played for the Swedish National Heritage Team, who he now coaches for in International tournaments.
Our Summer Lacrosse Clinics are the perfect midweek opportunity for players to develop their skills and stay active all summer long. Held Wednesdays from 6–7 PM, June through August, these clinics focus on fundamentals, stick skills, shooting, passing, and game-like drills in a fun and supportive environment for all skill levels. Players will build confidence, improve technique, and enjoy consistent reps throughout the summer.
